Pre Matric scholarship UP:
Students in classes 9 and 10 in Uttar Pradesh are eligible for UP pre-matric scholarships. The Social Welfare Department of the Government of Uttar Pradesh awards these UP scholarships, which students who are residents of the state may apply for.

Pre-matric Scholarship for OBC students, Uttar Pradesh
- The applicants must be studying in class 9 and 10 must have domicile of UP.
- The candidate must belong to the OBC category of Uttar Pradesh.
- The annual family income must not be more than Rs. 1 Lakh.
Here are lists of points applicants should consider while filling up the form for
UP Pre-matric Scholarship:
- For students Before filling out the online application form, a marksheet or certificate of your educational qualification, a caste or income residence certificate (issued online), the compulsory annual non-refundable fee amount of the course, your registration number of the current university or board (except for the first year), your Aadhaar number, a passport-size photograph, etc. must be recorded.
- The name, father's name, gender, and date of birth on the high school mark sheet and certificate must match the information on the Aadhaar card.
- After demographic authentication of the Aadhaar number (demographic authentication) (matching of the Aadhaar number, name, and date of birth) and an OTP received on the Aadhaar-linked mobile number, the student will be able to temporarily lock his or her application form online.
- Linking your Aadhaar number to your bank account and seeding is mandatory. Compulsorily get it done from the bank branch; otherwise, there will be a possibility of transaction failure. In the financial year 2022–203, the scholarship will be paid only into the bank account linked to the Aadhaar number.
- Keep your Aadhaar-linked savings bank account (with linking in the bank account and seeding in NPCI) operational, maintain a minimum balance (there is no maximum limit on the amount of money coming into the account), and do transactions in the bank account every three months.
- Check the Aadhaar-linked savings bank account thoroughly. The student's application through PFMS will be rejected unless an Aadhaar linked account number is filled out (by linking a bank account and seeding in NPCI). Renewal students who have already completed Aadhaar and OTP authentication do not need to do so again until the end of the course.
- Before locking the temporary, the student's complete details, such as his high school or intermediate roll number, caste or income certificate number, application number, and details of the marks obtained by the student in the previous examination in the current course, should be reviewed. Minimum qualifications for taking admission include: course and type of course, income mentioned in the income certificate; approved annual fee amount; category mentioned in the application form (Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, General Category, Backward Classes, Minority Category), etc. Examine the markings carefully.
- All students fill out their application forms themselves. Create your own password for the online application form. If students are applying from a cybercafé or institution, then fill out all the entries in the application form in front of you.

UP Pre-matric Scholarship:
- Don't disclose any of your personal information to anyone, including your Aadhaar number, high school transcript, bank account number, application password, or any other data or records.
- Do not wait until the deadline to submit your application.
- In no case should failed students submit a scholarship application.
- The application form will not be deemed complete unless the final printout is taken and submitted to the educational institution. The revised application form will only be valid after printing the revised final print, submitting it to the institution, and having it forwarded by the institution, even after modifying the time period specified in the timetable.
- The application form will be canceled, the scholarship ineligible, and the student will be solely responsible for any incorrect, incomplete, or incorrect entries made on it.
- If it is discovered that the student used another student's Aadhaar number, high school roll number, bank account, income, caste certificate, or any other record when applying, punitive action will be taken against the student and the institution in accordance with the rules. The submission will be rejected.
- If the student's data is flagged as suspicious, the institution that the student attends will require an online response to the suspicion along with supporting documentation. If the student's answers or supporting materials are accurate, or if the scholarship is not made electronically available to the district level officers (District Social Welfare Officer, District Backward Classes Welfare Officer, and District Minorities Welfare Officer) within the time frame specified on the institute's scholarship website. If the assertion is not supported, the data will be rejected by digital signature after the district scholarship acceptance committee renders its judgment.

How to Apply online for UP Pre-Matric scholarship ?
