The Government have basically 4 different types of Scholarship schemes :-

  1. Pre Matric Class 9-10
  2. Post Matric Inter Class 11-12
  3. Post Matric Other than Inter
  4. Post Matric Out Side State

Post Matric For Outside State, Uttar Pradesh (UP PMS)

The Social Welfare Department of the Government of Uttar Pradesh has created the Post matric Other State Scholarship for ST, SC, and General Category  for students enrolled in Class 11 and Class 12 who fall under the SC/ST/General category. This scholarship is intended for students from the state of Uttar Pradesh who are attending a school outside of their home region.

Eligibility : Post Matric For Outside State

  1. The student must be a resident of Uttar Pradesh.
  2. The student must belong to the SC/ST/General category.
  3. Applicants should be studying in class 11 or 12 at an institution outside the state.
  4. Applicant's family income is less than INR 2 lakh per annum (for general category students) and less than INR 2.5 lakh per annum (for SC/ST students) from all sources

How to fill the Post Matric Scholarship form ?

The following describes the post-matriculation scholarship application process step by step:

  1. Visit the official website of the Uttar Pradesh Post-Matric Scholarship for OBC Students.
  2. Select registration by clicking the student button.
  3. Choose the Scholarship scheme, complete the form, and submit.
  4. Log in using the credentials you received after registering for the UP scholarship.
  5. Select the appropriate option (new login or renewal login) and continue.
  6. Complete the UP scholarship application, attach all required documentation, and click submit.
  7. Before submitting their application, candidates are urged to carefully read all of the instructions. Students must upload correct and appropriate documents as well.

  • Passport size photo
  • Income certificate
  • Caste certificate
  • Domicile certificate
  • Mark sheet of the previous/ qualifying examination
  • Bank passbook of either student or parents
  • Student id card
  • Current year admission letter or fee receipt
  • Residential proof
  • Birth certificate
  • Students from the blacklisted institutions are not allowed to participate in the scholarship program
