Description:
The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is a test that is conducted for candidates in order to determine whether or not they are qualified to work as teachers in schools run by the Central Government, such as NVS/KVS and other Schools, etc. The CTET used to be conducted in a traditional paper-and-pencil format; however, starting in 2017, the CBSE has been giving the exam via an online platform exclusively. The computer-based test (CBT) for the CTET 2022, which will be conducted in an online format (CBT), is expected to take place between December 2022 and January 2023 by the CBSE. The validity of the CTET has been extended to Lifetime. In states where there are no TET tests, candidates are recruited based on their performance on the CTET Exam.

Application Fee

  • SC / ST / PH Applicants:Rs.600/- For both paper 1 and 2

Age Limits as of 24/09/2022

  • Maximum Age:No maximum age limit.
  • Minimum Age:17 Yrs.
  • There in No Restriction on Number of Attempts a candidate can take for earning a CTET Certificate. Any Person Who has previously qualified CTET can also reappear again for improving their score.

Eligibilty for Classes 1-5
A candidate must have qualified passed Senior Secondary OR (Its Equivalent) with at Least 50% Marks & Passed OR Appearing in Final Year of Diploma (course of minimum 2 years) in Elementary Education.
OR The candidate must have qualified/passes Senior Secondary (Its Equivalent) with At Least 45% Marks & Passed OR Appearing in Final Year of 2 Year Diploma in Elementary Education As Per NCTE 2002 Norms OR .
Or The candidate must have qualified the Senior Secondary OR (Its Equivalent) with at least 50% Marks & either passed OR appearing in Final Year of 4 Year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) .
Or The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree and has cleared or appeared in the final year exam of Diploma in Elementary Education (2 years duration).

Eligibilty for Classes 6-8
A candidate must have Bachelor Degree & Passed OR Appearing in Final Year of 2 Year Diploma in Elementary Education.
OR The candidate must have qualified/passed Graduation with 50% Marks & Passed OR is appearing in 1st Year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) OR .
Or The candidate must have qualified the Graduation with 45% Marks & Passed OR Appearing in 1 Year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in Accordance with the NCTE Norms .
Or The candidate must have a Senior Secondary OR (Its equivalent) with At least 50% marks & passed OR appearing in Final Year of 4 Year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
Or The candidate must have a Senior Secondary OR (Its Equivalent) with At Least 50% Marks & Passed OR is appearing in Final Year of 4 Year B.A / B.Sc. Ed. OR B.A.Ed. / B.Sc.Ed.
Or The candidate must have a Graduation degree with 50% Marks & Passed OR is appearing for 1st Year of Bachelor in Education (Special Education).
